On May 19, 2023, a delegation led by Professor Xu Daowen, a discipline leader in the Department of Sociology, School of Government, Shenzhen University, Professor Tang Yong, Director of Social Work Education Center, and Associate Professor Chi Shangxin, Deputy Director of Department of Sociology, visited City University of Macau on invitation. After arriving at the campus, Lu Zhenni, Program Director of Department of Innovative Social Work, City University of Macau, guided the delegation to visit the Central Garden, Nine-Dragon Wall, History Hall, He Xian Conference Center, Library and other venues, introducing the development history of the City University of Macau and the current public service facilities.

Afterwards, the two sides had a friendly exchange of views in the conference room. Ye Guiping, Vice President of City University of Macau, extended a warm welcome to Professor Xu Daowen and his delegation. He stated that it was necessary for the two sides to strengthen in-depth cooperation in promoting diversified talent training in the Greater Bay Area, and also expressed views on undergraduate exchange visits, summer and winter camps, recommended exemption graduate students, joint training of doctoral students and joint conferences. In the process, Professor Xu Daowen, on behalf of the Department of Sociology, Shenzhen University, expressed his sincere thanks to the City University of Macau for the invitation, agreed with the cooperation matters mentioned by Vice President Ye Guiping, and looked forward to the subsequent implementation of various cooperation matters. The attendees also included Lu Zhenni, Program Director of Department of Innovative Social Work, Associate Professor Yang Shuyan, Assistant Professor Hu Jierong and Assistant Professor Zhang Donghang. The two sides then discussed the details of various cooperation matters.

In the end, the two sides presented a souvenir gift to each other. Professor Xu Daowen and his delegation said that they were looking forward to the visit of the faculty of City University of Macau to Shenzhen University.
